Invariant Achievements to Exemplify Solana Potential for the Next Generation of Polish Engineers
Today is the day of the Gala Closing the Competition for the Universities Thesis in Poland, and we are excited to confirm that our partners at Invariant are joining Bering Waters to speak to the authors of the winning thesis and their promoters.
Wojciech Cichocki, CEO and Lead Developer at Invariant represents the backbone of the next generation of Polish blockchain developers and founders. This year, he graduated from the University of Science and Technology in Krakow. He has been gaining coding experience on several blockchains, including Ethereum, and Aptos, to finally build a team for Invariant on Solana.
During the talk, he will be elaborating on how to maximize program’s composability on the example of a concentrated liquidity AMM. Sign up via the invitation link to hear Wojciech speak!
Invariant is an AMM DEX built on the Solana blockchain that focuses on providing concentrated liquidity. The protocol was founded by a strong team of developers that have years of experience in DeFi, and is implemented as a set of smart contracts that prioritizes censorship resistance, security, self-custody, and the ability to operate without the use of trusted intermediaries who can selectively restrict access.
Continuing its work to build up Poland’s blockchain sector, Bering Waters University, a program of Bering Waters Group, has partnered with the 4 Science Institute in a diploma thesis competition for graduates from the leading technical Polish universities.
It’s the 5th edition of the competition organized under the patronage of Gov Tech Poland, a cross-ministerial task force operating in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, with a wide mandate for facilitating the adoption of innovative policies and technical solutions across the public sector.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Section Poland, whose mission is to build a bridge between the tech industry and universities in Poland, is another patron of the event.
Bering Waters is a Diamond Sponsor, alongside Intel — both are the largest benefactors of the competition. Other major sponsors include Samsung, Philips, and Nordea.
Bering Waters is committed to expanding the size and utilization of the Solana ecosystem through a range of initiatives, including targeted investments, businesses and internal projects. For example, earlier this year, Bering Waters sponsored a $30,000 prize for the best Polish-based project submitted in the global Solana Riptide Hackathon.
Invariant has been awarded this prize for their efforts for boosting liquidity in the Solana token market and making it easier to buy and sell cryptocurrency. The Krakow based team comprising young engineers exemplifies the possibilities of the Solana ecosystem, which are offered to the best tech talent, without any geographic or language limitations.
People wanting to join Solana’s ecosystem will need to exhibit vision, ambition, determination, consistency in execution and talent. Those characteristics are unifying all the builders in the Solana ecosystem and the individuals who aspire to join this mantra and ethos through Bering Waters University.
“It’s great that a global player like Bering Waters Group sees untapped potential in tech talent on the Polish market and directed its prize toward developers like us. We have talent in our country and are thrilled they are working to help all of us grow.” — said Wojciech Cichocki when receiving the Hackathon prize earlier this year.
